Descripción: Documentation Specialists are the primary service point of contact for clients wishing to open accounts with the JP Morgan Private Bank. Combining their knowledge and skills with the available technological tools, specialists facilitate the opening of accounts by preparing account opening documentation for clients, responding to inquiries related to documentation issues, and coordinating with the different business areas to resolve complex documentation issues in a timely and personalized manner. Documentation Specialists are expected to meet the needs of clients while adhering to the firm’s established procedures for the opening and maintenance of accounts and approval of updated documentation. Specialists are accountable for delivery of all day-to-day account opening service, coordinating across teams where required. Specialists are expected to master all of the technology used to complete the account opening process, track documentation status, and manage documentation investigations. As the technology evolves, Specialists are expected to learn and master the new technology so as to optimize its execution, tracking and control capabilities.
Funciones: Liaison with and knowledge resource to market partners (Bankers, Investors, Client Service). Analysing and understanding complex client structures and explaining them to colleagues across the business. Reviewing clients’ constitutional documentation, having consideration for relevant tax, regulatory and corporate law issues, as applicable. Adherence to both regulatory and internal requirements and guidelines. Coordinate the preparation and delivery of documentation package, advising on required documents based upon entity type and jurisdiction. Pro-actively follow up with client (or internal party) if documentation is not returned. Work closely on a daily basis with documentation and administration teams based in London in support of the account opening process. Track and communicate documentation status. Review/Validate/Authorize received documentation. Follow up on missing documentation/information. Provide backup and coverage for other team members. Perform other duties or special projects as required.
Requisitos: Law Degree qualification (or equivalent in candidate’s home jurisdiction) is required. Once trained, the successful candidate will be expected to deal with a wide range of jurisdictions and entity types. A working knowledge of the general principles of corporate, trust, banking, tax and estate law. Previous banking experience preferred, but training will be provided to the successful candidate. Fluent English and Spanish language skills. The ability to analyse legal documentation in another of our working languages (French, Italian, German and/or Dutch) is preferred but is not a prerequisite. Strong team player with the ability to work independently, as well as in a small team environment, and to work on multiple tasks at any one time. Solid understanding of products and operational processes.Strong analytical, organizational, problem solving, and planning skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing business and technological environment.
